vinnychezni It's crazy how the most diabolically heavy album of 2024 has already been released. Normally I'd want an album like this to sit around 25-30 minutes, but Defaced left me wanting more after 45. It pushes the boundaries of brutal death metal while maintaining catchy grooves that pop up out of the madness. There's a myriad of texture through the vocals and added noise across the album that justifies multiple listens. Favorite track: Mother.
